Knitting: The Rose Stitch

An easy knit and purl stitch which makes a nice rose bush grid-looking finish
– like when roses grow by a wall and they form this grid with the branches up the wall? 😉

Lace No. 8 Knit Stitch

Abbreviations:
sl1 kw = slip 1 stitch knitwise (as if to knit it)
psso = pass slipped stitch over and off the needle
yo = yarn over
k1, k2 = knit 1 or two stitches
